The bugbear finally pounced and began to wail upon the final persons remaining in the table that were its target. The result was rather messy, and simple. In a panic, the men remaining began to fumble. The first was easily bashed by the heavy mace, which was left imbedded in the mans spine. The next became a meal--the bugbear quickly lashing onto him and beginning to tear him apart, and eat him. It seemed the bugbear had been use to a taste of human flesh--or it was half starved. Either way, the last man died rather painfully. That is, if no one stopped it.
That deformed midget that was mentioned before wasn't simply deformed. It was now a wrecking pile of flesh and bones that seethed a cruel excuse for blood. The bone devil smiled down at it cruely, apparently unaware at the balor that intended to mutilate it later. The Pit Fiend, that is, the one who seemed to be amused that the little devil had killed a demon, did not ignore this and spoke some fowl words.
These words seemed unnatural, and in fact seemed to carry the evil of this place. They could send a chill down a persons spine if they were not use to them being spoken. This drawed the attention of the other demons....things did not look promising

Adara grumbled as the devil moved to stop her. "Fine," she said impatiently, "then come with me if my safety is so important to you. But I want to get out of here."
Glancing behind her, Adara watched as the bugbear began slaughtering some of the men in the bar. She instinctively reached for her plaz-pistol on her thigh, but felt only an empty holster. All she had was an issued military knife. "I want to get out of here," she repeated, pulling her eyes away from the gruesome scene.

Abeo was skilled in many various languages, a nice skill you might say to keep incognito as possible when taking another role. Though you did not need to know Infernal to understand that the large dragon-like devil, known as a pit fiend, was issuing insults too vile to be spoken in the common tongue. It was getting close to time to depart.
He turned to the opening in the wall, hoping to see nothing blocking his path, either rubble or people, before turning back to the scene. He had to time this right, just incase someone tries to knife him in the back. Usually he would not worry of such matters, but this was an unpredicible situation with an attack possible at any moment. Maybe he should change his guise as soon as he departs here for something more... fitting.

Adara When her eyes slipped back, he smiled--and for a brief flicker his jagged teeth were apparent. "I can always offer you safe haven. You'd just have to agree to a few terms. Nothing too restricting--it's just you can never trust anyone in this town. Not even yourself." That those last words, Adara might find a subtle itching thought in her mind. It was a soft compulsion to accept the man's terms. And while she could not find a why for such a reasoning, part of her also couldn't argue against it. A bit of a trying situation for the woman. Abeo Unfortunately for him, a few creatures began to stir along the room, and at times those holes looked occupied. The large pit fiend began to pace on one side of the room--he was a thinker, very much unlike the balor who had already started to prepare for the war. The Pit Fiend, however, did not seem overly concerned with his buffs. In the mean time, the bugbear suddenly snapped. That dementia that settled in its eyes began a wild frenzy. It lowered its back even more, and began to utter savage growls as it looked around the suddenly unfamiliar bar. A few creatures made partial jabs at it, out of stupid jest. Unfortunately for them, their leers were returned with a snap and a few steps forward from the beast. The Devil's and Demon's began to split across the room--though a few on both sides secretly slipped out due to their own interest under consideration (That and their ways changed due to this terrible place). Coldstone, however, only shifted a bit and began to casually perform a few subtle motions. They seemed meaningless to the watcher, but like everything--they had a purpose

Adara glared at the devil suspiciously-- not that she had trusted him or anyone else here at all. This place would be of no use to her. She would need to return home as soon as the stars allowed her to. Who knew how long that could be though: in Korlistar, the historians had said she would be trapped in the Sister Realm for at least a month, but what did they really know? She could be here for a year, or even more. Hopefully not though; this place had to have some celestial patterns.
As soon as the devil uttered his last words, Adara felt something odd and alien within her, and then automatically a jolt of panic. Her body was very aware of changes that occured within it and Adara's species had the ability to manually dip inside to their most basic bodily functions-- into the unconscious, as some Humans might call the area.
But whether it was due to the devil's words or the increasing violence within the bar, Adara simply and quite suddenly grabbed the devil's wrist and dragged him outsite, pratically running out of the bar. Frankly, Adara wanted to find that other woman-- again, the Tekken had no trust of anyone here, but she was drawn to strong figures.
"Well," she growled, turning to the devil, "where is this 'safe haven' of yours?"

His old man form took to a knee as he croutched behind the table for the protection that it could give him. The people that have littered the entrance did not exactly help the situation much either. His left hand moved to his belt where his flintlock laid while his right took to a small sack in which some fine gunpowder would be poured into the flash pan. If something pops up, he might as well be prepared.
Once done with adding the final portion to his pistol, he put the little baggy away into his pouchbelt. Holding the pistol at the ready, he looked as the forces built between demons and devils. Holding at the ready, he kept to his crotch till the occasion requires him to make a quick retreat, but to where is unknown.

Adara The little devil only chuckled a moment. He then made a motion for her to follow. Of course, before he guided her, his hand extended out for her to shake. Sort of the pact signing of an agreement if you will. If she did, or rather, when she did shake his hand he would guide her out the door--very quickly and very carefully. After all, he couldn't afford to have her hurt could he? Once outside he looked both left and right before he spoke "Hurry!" And then he ran. Abeo The minor demons and devils slowly moved in, armed now with weaoins and claws. The largest of those leaders did not, however, start forward just yet. The scene began to get messy, and violent. Coldstone, however, was just the opposite. Instead of panicing as the Blood War spilled into his own ranks, he simply hifted a hand beneath the bar for a moment, then went back to cleaning. It did not take long for it to happen. The door was bahed through, and several rather powerful looking machines had entered. Each had some intriging metal to make its form, and was carved throughout by runes of power. The center one of the 6 that arrived had a cape drapped around its form, and several gold bands attached to its wrist. It looked like it might be the leader. It, however, was not the one who spoke first--but rather the one closest to its right side. The thing spoke in a robust tone. "This is in violation of protocal. Cease this battle and submit to the decree of the Lord, else you be punished accordingly." What else could occur now?

Adara stared down at the devil's hand for a moment... wondering what to do with it. It was not custom to shake hands where she came from, and frankly she had never seen anyone do such a think in Korlistar. If the devil did not resort to grabbing a hand of hers and shaking it for her, then Adara would simply slap the devil's hand down before being led outside.
Then, outside, watching as he suddenly started to run off, Adara wondered why the devil was in such a hurry when he seemed quite calm only moment ago. She of course followed him, and proved to be a much better runner than anyone might expect from the human-looking creature, but she almost came to a halt when she glanced behind her at the sound of machines. Machines! So this world wasn't completely primitive after all.
"Wait!" she called to the devil, "What are those?" She caught sight of the people with the machines, the ones calling to the inn now, "And who are they?"

'If it wasn't bad enough, golems to aid to the battle,' he thought, but was unfamiliar with them capable of speech and intricate orders that these appeared to be able to take. That could make the situation even worse. In any case, he kept to his posture, taking to his empty hand his dagger for a secondary weapon. As he saw it, once the main battle took to the bar, he could make a run at the hole. If something should try to block him, a shot to the face should remedy the problem. How did today turn to such a bad day.

Adara
The devil would have reached out to shake her hand briefly--almost as if forcing the issue. She'd feel a sort of odd sensation fall over her if the devil was successful. It he had failed he would shrug and dart anyways.
As she spoke the devil stopped and frowned.
"The law. Good for nothing wretches of this place. I'd not cross them if I were you, good lady."
Abeo
The demons and devils stopped and stared at the door. This was the law of the town, and to break it was to earn punishment by the Lord of this place. The devils were quick to settle back, but a the balor did not. It stepped up, still trying to beckon the weaker demons to join it.
"what could you possibly do to me--stupid wretch" it spoke in common. It was at this point the captain of the 6 pushed forward and produced an item in hand. It resonated a faint white glow. This aura was enough to drive the smaller minions off, but the larger stayed, albeit clearly intimidated.
"And..and what shall that silly little device do hm?"

Adara let her hand be shaken, though if whatever the devil had tried on her was chemical or some other physical manipulation, Adara wouldn't have felt a thing--her Tekken skin practically impenetrable and she had a sort of immune system that destroys almost any alien substance that might intrude her body. If the devil had performed some kind of magic, however, Adara would probably feel the affect--and instinctively pull her hand away, whether she made the connection between the feeling and handshake or not.
Listening to the devil speak of the machines and the men with them, Adara wrinkled her forhead. "The law is hated here?" She sniffed, being that in some sense she was part of galactic law in her universe. Military and law enforcement were run by the same overarching organization-- seperate only from government-- in Korlistar.
Adara half felt that she should run back to the bar and talk to the men with the machines... but she also felt they could easily attack and hurt her with her only carrying a standard military issued knife. Was the law as crazy as the inhabitants of this place were? At least there was a law, Adara thought. She turned back to the devil and started following him again.
