That snake hissed a bit more, and then slipped back from the group of men who seemed a bit unsettled by his appearance. He paused by the door to hiss a few slurrs and words in a foriegn language. Whence he departed an armored bugbear arrived
This creature was a daunting beast, 7 or so feet. The body of this creature was dabed with coarse hairs along its body, but most seemed to have been replaced by terrible scars from a lashing. Its face seemed a bit mushed, and bore resemblance to a bear. This near naked creature was rattled in chains. In its left hand a large spiked mace and in its right a crude dagger--it looked as if a peice of metal had been cut and shaped, but left with its jagged edges for cutting purposes.

Lillith
She smiled at his words as he smiled at her. "Well, then it is settled. But we will need to organise a time and a date unless you wish to do it tonight with me?" Although that worried her a little and she bought her eyes around the place. How long would the light hold off for; that was her only worry. She had her cloak, but she didn't like the heat that came through, it made her feel uncomfortable.
Tipping back her head she studied the empty glass and then studied him as he turned to examine the bar. Frowning at his actions, Lillith turned and looked around the bar. That woman, the one in the odd attire, was still there talking to what looked like a demon or something. Lillith felt a chill along her skin, there was a storm brewing.

A sneer crossed his face as the bartender rudely pushed it before him. Oh well, free is free, he thought. Abeo took long drink of his beverage that was given to him. It's taste was a bit stale, but it filled it's needs as it did not take much to get a buzz going. Placing the partially drunken mug upon the table, he looked up to the large bartender looking down to him as if awaiting payment for the drink. Abeo has groan accustomed to that look before. "What?" he said, holding his arms out with a shrug. "The one paying is over there," suggesting the fellows that said 'free drinks on the house.' "So let me enjoy this... ummmm, what is this by the way?" Now realizing he has no clue what he just drank. THis could be bad... maybe.

Adara sniffed with distaste. She normally started the bar fights back home... whenever her father wasn't in the same camp, though word always got back to him. Frankly, Adara only remained in the Gin Tekken army because of her father's rank and her skill at flying and shooting. That, and the army needed all the fighters they could get; their enemy never stopped trying to destroy every last one of the Gin Tekkens.
Turning to see yet another unsightly creature stepped into the bar (had she crossed over into hell?), Adara snapped her eyes back to the demon-man beside her. He could be of some use to Adara... Suddenly she simply said, "Get me some food or go away."

Abeo Coldstone looked at him with dull amusement. Then, with a rather casual tone the barkeep spoke up--of course, he was going on about his business now. This consisted of him swaying one direction and then hobbling back to another as he cleaned glasses, and shifted dirty steel caps with small pieces of food on them into a slot that seemed to lead into the back. "Thats ale--old ale, but ale. Be glad I didn't serve you the house special." Lillith The man gave a soft smirk. He looked back over at the bugbear and then shifted his eyes around the bar. His thought process was rather simple, and it provided him a quick answer. "Tonight sounds like an opportune time. Especially with this scene becomming--tragic". With this, he elevated and gestured for Lillith to do the same. Whence she had he would escort her, albeit a bit hastily, from the bar. Adara That hidden devil smiled--those bright red eyes shimmered a bit before he spoke up. "And what would you like to have hm? Or would anything work for you?"

The bugbear lumbered forward, and one could easily observe it did so in a half-sleepy half-lazy manner. The morningstar was held limp as it marked its way along the tavern. Coldstone did not seem to mind it, nor did most of the other patrons. However, the men, especially the one who had offered the house drinks, seemed a bit shaken.
One man rose quickly, making his way to the door. Unfortunately for him he was not fast enough, nor evasive enough to avoid that spiked wrecking ball that was attached to the wooden shaft. The bugbear brought it down into the back of that scared mans neck in a fatal way, but performed in such a off beat manner it seemed uncanny.
The few men at the table hussled and squirmed at the sight of their fallen comrade. In the mean time, it seemed as if the rest of the patrons paid it little mind. Of course, there was much more occuring--if one would just spend the time to observe, one could easily see those plans being worked out by several of the patrons

OOC: You know the man that moved towards the door.. and then gets hit with a spiked ball? Is that the character Lillith is with? For the moment I'll write as if it isn't but if you wish for it to be changed then I will do so.
IC:
Lillith smiled as the man shifted his eyes around the bar. It had always been an impulse of her own to do such things too, and in turn averted her eyes across the people in the Inn. She had seen the bugbear type character and had taken immediate dislike to him. But then she figured everyone in this place disliked each other.
The oportune time, she thought, with a sultry smile in his direction. Sighing she looked around the bar again. "Indeed," she nodded in agreement, "It's becoming a little sad." As he rose from the stool, Lillith also did so. Upon rising, she would move fluidly towards the door with a sort of other-worldly elegance. Although not in a hurry, she matched his fast pace with her own long legged strides.. all the timw waiting for her partner to make the next move.

A brow furrowed at the bartender's comment on the ale before looking at it suspitiously. With close study, he gives a shrug. "I'll keep that in mind, big guy," he said in a chipper tone before drinking the stale drink. It atleast served a purpose. Though in mid gulp, the sound of steel scraping into wood, caught his attention. This would be evident as he choked on the ale to see who was the cause of this noise.
Though all his sight beheld was the object that made the noise now was making an imprint in the back of a man's head, who appeared to be on his way out. "By the Traveler! What the hell?" Came the words from his lips no sooner as he jumped off his stool to the next one out of pure shock. His eyes were the size of golf balls as he turned from the beast of a creature to the bartender and back.
"Why did he do that? He can't do that, can he? Why did he do that?" His voice was anything but short of scared as he extended a finger at the scene.

Adara opened her mouth to reply to the demon, but no words came out. Her eyes caught hold of the sudden sight, the bugbear killing a man on his way out. She closed her mouth and tightened her jaw, especially when no one did anything about the open murder; Has this place no laws? she thought with an almost annoyed glare.
Her head then spun to the man that was squawking about the action, though rather rightly so, as it was a disturbing event (mostly due to the fact that no one seemed to care).
Only her grumbling stomach brought her back to her own current problem. Without looking at the demon she replied, "I don't care, anything--" then she turned to him sharply, "So long as it isn't poisonous or rotten."

Lillith He slipped out of the door rather carefully mind you. When he stood at the edge of the threshold he motioned for her to depart with him. (Over to Sister Sara's place) Adara That red-eyed man gave a casual smile as he began to move away. It broadened when she mentioned not to poison it. He had no intention of killing her, at least not at the moment. When he went to Coldstone (who shot him a dirty look) he ordered the house special. The bartender couldn't help but chuckle. The meal was easily readied in a few minutes, and the dark haired man placed the meal before her. Whatever it was it seemed cooked, and it had small slices of meat. "There you go." Abeo "Why can't he do that?" replied the barkeep, who had moved on to polishing a dark glass. As he waddled about his rounds he continued to speak "Nothing is really going to stop him--at the moment"

The Bugbear turned towards those few men who had the lot of currency, and began to lumber about them once more, as if in debate about who was the next victim of his bloddy spiked mace.
At this time a rather skeletal figure lumbered up and hissed--then launched itself across the bar at a deformed midget. This midget was a quassit--a demon. Unfortunately for the newest patrons, they would not really know about the hate between demons and devils. As those two scrapped, with the skeletal thing having the obvious upper hand, the eyes of the bigger demons began to draw inward at the skirmish

Lillith slid out of the door with him as he motioned her to follow. The air outside was cold and polluted which did not suit her. But nonetheless it was dark and that was tha main thing right now. As an instinct Lillith put up her hood.. The trenchcoat she wore was not bought about her figure, enabling the man she was with to see the beautiful flawless skin of her chest and the rise of her breasts.
Long legs stood for a minute and looked around, giving her the 'testing the waters' look. She turned to her companion and smiled before averting her eyes around the surroundings once more.

"But.. but, what about your bar? you are a big guy, you could toss him out for messing up the place," he remarked though on second thought it wasn't a very winning arguement. It was pretty messy, and there was a hole in the wall for crying out load. This is a rough place and he was pondering how he would get through this.
And if the situation was not enough, a skirmish was beginning to arise between what little he knew was monstrous beings. "Oh boy..," he murmured, sliding off his stool for a nearby table where he may make as cover if things should go any further and at a straight shot for the hole in the wall. An alive thief is one with an escape plan.

Without thanking the demon, Adara took the meal, smelled it for a moment, processed what she could and-- finding it did not seem to be harmful, though rather weak in protein for her taste and body-- began to eat. She glanced up only once to hear the man that had been appalled with the earilier murder speak and again before he fled, and she wondered if he was a newcomer to this place too. Not from another realm, surely, she thought, but had no answer.
She finished the meal with what would seem to be abnormal speed-- at least, it would have been if she were human. Tekkens like to eat a lot though. They have to feed their muscles and fast metabolisms. A single protein bar of Adara's, the kind she had run out of at the moment, would have had twice as much protein in it than the meal she had just eaten. Still, the meal would tie her over for a while, and right now Adara could only take it one step at a time.
And at this time, with the violence continuing, Adara came to the conclusion that she should leave this place. Hopping off her stool, Adara threw a curt statement to the demon: "I'm leaving," and headed towards the front door.

Adara The devil moved to stop her, his hands raised almost pleadingly. He wore a soft frown at this point, shaking his head very so slightly even as he spoke. "You're new, obviously. If you'd listen, even for a moment, you'd understand that traveling alone is suicide. Come! Look! Even the devils and demons begin to fight like the natural order. And they have an eternal war in another world, even trying to bleed it here. And yet, now they are here." Abeo The bartender looked at him blankly and then shrugged. "It will always be my bar. If it gets out of hand I'll end it..simple as that. Get involved if it is so important to you" Then Coldstone proceeded to move around and service the others at his counter.
